Rep For Actress Says Couple Is "Amicably Separating"

(CBS) Actress Carmen Electra and her husband, rocker Dave Navarro, are "amicably separating," a rep for Electra confirmed to TheShowBuzz.com on Monday.

Electra and Navarro tied the knot in November of 2003. Their lavish rock star nuptials were chronicled in the 2004 MTV series "'Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave."

Electra's rep, Jill Fritzo, would not comment further on the matter.

The couple announced they were "amicably splitting" last month but neither star would elaborate on the break up.

Carmen officially filed divorce papers yesterday (10.08.06) citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split, reports the New York Post newspaper.

Court documents also reveal the actual day the pair parted was July 18.
